Japan Karate Shoto Federation
(The JKS)

We are proudly affiliated to the JKS with Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

We cannot overstate how important this is for our members. Most importantly, it means that the instruction our members get is of the highest quality.

All Black Belts are registered in Japan, and every grade is a legitimate qualification endorsed and certified by Japan.

There are regular opportunities to train with JKS Japan instructors, many of whom are world-champions.

There are also opportunities to visit and train in Japan as part of the annual JKS England visit.

We believe that by being a member of the JKS family we are in a very privileged position in the karate world.

English Karate Federation

We are also members of the EKF (English Karate Federation).

The EKF is the only English Karate organisation recognised by the WKF (World Karate Federation) who are in turn the only World Karate organisation recognised by the IOC (International Olympic Committee).
